For lovers of the classic Land Rover series models, driving an open-topped 88 is about as close to pure freedom as it gets. But there are problems. The blazing overhead sun gets uncomfortable at times, and manhandling bulky canvas tops on and off is no fun for anyone. Further, a canvas roof takes up a ton of space, so removing it and carrying it with you uses interior room that could be better utilized for things we like better, such as surfboards, labrador retrievers, or coolers full of your preferred beverage. Yes, "bikini" tops are available, but they don't offer much protection.

Fortunately, Autology Motors has you covered, so to speak.

We are currently in production of our "Bimini" top (named for the boat top of similar style.) Available soon in both "Night Black" and "Tierra" (shown here), it comes with an easily fitted frame and can be completely assembled or disassembled in minutes, all breaking down into a tidy and compact bag that you can stow easily and carry with you anywhere.
